Nocturn Industries Manticore-R Rugged Aluminum Night Vision Goggle

The Manticore-R from Nocturn Industries is a rugged, articulating binocular housing made of high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum with a on-board digital controls that control power, gain, and an on-board IR illuminator. This binocular device features individual pod shutoff when each pod is rolled up, IPD stops, user-adjustable pod tension, IR-illuminator & indicator, and low battery indicator. It has a built in external battery port that uses a 00B Demo cable.  We have the Nocturn Industries Bat Packs available in three colors. The device is powered on-board by a single CR123A for a continuous runtime of ~25 hours with the ability to run an external battery for an additional 60 hours. State-of-the-art modelling allows an extremely strong housing with a low weight – only 561g fully-loaded with Milspec PVS-14 optics. This device is one of the strongest, most full-featured, and lightest in its class. Handpicked Option – Select this if you want Custom Night Vision to select intensifier tubes for you instead of selecting a set from our inventory.  We will contact you (typically within 24-48 hours of placing your order) with pictures and specs of tubes we select to ask for your approval. If you have preferences on certain specs (ie: SNR, EBI etc…) please include those in your order notes and we will do our best to meet your goal.  After customer tube approval the night vision unit will be ready to ship within 1 to 3 business days. We offer five choices of Optics: Standard Mil-Spec Optics – NVD Cage Code – These are the most popular and cost effective option.  We have evaluated multiple optics and found these to be the best option for most of our customers.  Weight: 4.5 ounces per set. Standard Mil-Spec Optics – Noctis (Formerly Carson) Cage Code – These are identical to our NVD Cage Code optics, but have the Cage Code of Noctis (Former Carson). Weight: 4.5 ounces per optic set. Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) 4.0 Ultralight – These are the most popular lightweight optic option.  These offer increased performance and are ~45% lighter than Standard Mil-Spec Optics. Weight: 2.4 ounces per optic set. Photonis Defense Boomslang 50 Degree FOV – Lightweight 50 Degree optic system. Weight: 3.5 ounces per optic set Act in Black 50-Degree FOV – 50 degree optic system offering minimal resolution loss. Weight: 4.7 ounces per optic set. Housing Swap Only Option – Includes prepaid label to send your existing night vision goggle, monoculars or parts to us.  We will swap your tubes and optics to a new Manticore including collimating and purge.  All remaining parts will be sent back to the customer with the complete Manticore. This also enables users to operate vehicles without limiting head space by eliminating the need to stow the unit upright or to tuck the pods against the helmet when stowed.
