The USGI Sacrifical Window for AN/PVS-7/14 protects the objective lens and coatings from impact damage, dust, sand and other airborne abrasives. This PVS-14 sacrificial window is made to take the abuse of regular use. The PVS-14 sacrificial lens is to be replaced when no longer effective.
