The “ALPHA” Mount is the pinnacle of night vision helmet mounts. Coming in at 80 grams, it is the lightest and lowest stowing night vision mount available to date for the common “dovetail” shoe interface. This mount is patent pending with a novel design that incorporates a ball detent force to overcome mechanism while also locking at the stowed and deployed positions. This is purposeful and is designed to defeat unwanted wobble in the mount commonly seen in other night vision mounts while also decreasing the chance of accidental deployment. Completely designed, machined, and assembled in the USA, and built to last with high strength 7075-T6 Aluminum, and 17-4 PH Stainless steel. This mount has an optional factory variant that supports a powered shoe for Nocturn Industries devices that are equipped with this option. *THE MOUNT CAN BE CONFIGURED WITH OR WITHOUT THE MANUAL LOCKOUT BUTTON* If you want the mount to operate as strictly ‘Force to overcome’ the lockout button must be removed.
