The Desk Set of novelty form modelled as a classic sailing rowboat with realistic hinged rear rudder, dugout hull and oars. The Desk Set is raised upon a black ebonised base with brass turned feet and turned arms holding the boat up in the air. The interior of the boat has been fitted with a pair of inkwells, two lidded compartments for spare nibs and accessories and two dip pens in the form of the oars. The boat is finished to an extremely high quality with ropework lids and simulated anchor rope points to both the bow and stern. The stand can be removed from the boat and is only resting on the original custom made base.
