Forest Scorpion in Resin, ...

This is a Giant Forest Scorpion in resin. Scientifically named Heterometrus liangi. It is commonly found in the tropical and subtropical regions of southeastern Asia including Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and India. This species of large scorpion is always black but can have slight tints of different color. It’s venom is non-lethal to humans.You can safely examine the fine point on its tail through the clear lucite. You can see every little detail, from all angles,  of this pristine specimen.As with all natural specimens, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.
